Defection

I don't know who thought escorting a slow NPC that gets stucks behind every corner was a good idea, but you can see the result - only reason people play Defection is to get Harrow Systems and maybe farm Ash along the way. It's dead and loathed game mode. Why not increase the rewards like was done with Disruption and ditch the rotation AABC. Seeing a 15 Endo reward wasting 15 minutes for a boring slow burn is an insult to be honest. Rotation C takes 8 waves, reward table is crammed with number of relics, I've probably done about 50 disruption runs for Harrow Systems and it's yet to drop. If putting a Warframe part on Rotation C with a 11,28% drop chance was a way to revive and incentivize the players to get back to Defection then you definitely went the wrong way about this. A rework is needed on rewards rotation and the whole game mode itself.

if that pisses you off remember how you had to do 9 invasion missions for a single shot at a mesa part? took me 13 runs to complete mesa. which is 117 invasions.

then mesa prime came out and it was actually easier to get.

i'm probably speaking for a large number of people when i say that harrow/mesa/nidus parts are behind warframe's unholy trinity of grind. there's an obvious why.

to keep people busy? to make them spend platinum easier over farming it?

OP has a valid point when it comes to this game mode.

I did a solo Defection Arbitration the other day, not because I wanted to solo, but because noone can be bothered to do them, I now completely understand why

That this game mode itself is pretty boring and tedious is one thing, but the rewards in arbitration are atrocious.

you get ONE rotation reward for rescuing 4 squads... I though the rotations were every 2 rounds? nonetheless, it took me about 10 minutes to complete this...

this is exceptionally bad in arbitration and by far the worst rewards/time spent in any arbitration

so there are two giant flaws here.

1. This game mode has terrible rewards

2. This game mode isn't fun (at least not to me)

also did I mention that there is a fail limit set to 10 rescue target deaths, so unless you are with a healer type frame, some targets are going to get killed and you will not be able to do this for a very long time

well, that's the point of the mission...

sure the rewards are bad and rounds take a lot of time, main reason i avoid those arbitrations

perhaps they should consider making mission rewards like rivens, unpopular modes should reward more, then in time they will be played more for being the meta for rewards and hopefully it will balance out... unlike rivens are balancing out weapon usage
