Rank 9 Failed

I failed the Rank 9 mission but was still given Rank 9 not sure if it's a bug or if that is suppose to happen.

you fail something, but still advance, and you have to question if that is a bug?

yes, its a bug, many people have been having said bug for quite some time it seems.

not sure what causes it.

don't get me wrong it's awesome I still went up but I don't want it to be a habit this is the first time I failed a Rank Test but I feel Like I didn't earn it >.>

So they actually fixed that white screen bug in the Rank 9 mastery test?

 

First time I attempted it, I got detected, screen went white and..... for 3 minutes I listened to constant gunfire and grineer shouting before I alt-F4'd the game and went back in, and was told I had to wait 24h.

 

Passed the test on the 2nd try by using a glaive and Loki.

yeah I was detected 2 times and was able to do it again I messed up on the last enemy and I failed but still got the rank xD

I also got the rank up on failure bug for Rank 9 and wish I didn't so I could have given an honest try on my Loki.

It's called Failing Upwards.  It happened a lot in corporations.  LOL
