Can Nekros and his prime weapons get buffed?

With Gram Prime being a power creep and other shotguns replacing Tigris prime Nekros hasn’t been on point either and may have been nerfed already on the looting ability. Here are recommendations to buff them:

Galitine Prime gets more crit damage, a few more IPS points in slash and puncture damage, and 10% more status chance. If it gets a primed weapon ability, then it can have something to do with buffing loot chance when used to dismember enemies.

Tigris Prime: Redeemer Prime put this heavy hitting back into the grave. Like the Redeemer Prime, the Tigris Prime can get a 10% status chance boost to allow 3 dual stat mods to work, slightly faster reload speed, and 5% crit chance boost. Although it has a a lot of IPS damage it can use a 10% increase.

Nekros Prime: Faster casting speed, more health and armor, reverting or allowing terrify to remove Armor again, and Shield of Shadows to give more damage reduction and limit cap for power strength. This can make Blind Rage and Umbra Intensify at max can put them at 95% damage reduction. Despoil can get a increase in chance to 55% for chance to pull bonus loot and loot from extra enemy bits still. Lastly the 1st ability Soul Punch can use a buff to scale or a rework to function like Titania’s buff ability.

The goal is to make these three items up to date when released from the prime vault.

With the use rate of nekros, I don't think they will make changes on him, they have better things to work on, i.e. NYX.

On Tigris Prime, I think shortgun in generally need some love, players still uses catchmoon as shortgun and rifles or snipers as primary instead of primary shortgun.

On Galatine Prime, yes it is slow, doesnt hit hard as gram prime, riven disposition is low, definitely need to work on. But melee 3.0 is still on the way, we need to be patience.

If galatine prime needs any changes, its return to 20% crit and status while giving it much higher base attack speed. 1.25-1.33 like nami skyla, cementing it as the fast heavy blade. Tho it would be better to see gram prime drop some 20% of its slash damage while paraceisis gets a soft retouch (either fully dedicated to sentient slaying or accounted for with rankup bonuses that universally work but are good vs sentients instead of bloated base stats but rankup bonus worthless unless you are farming on lua).

Tigris prime is already perfect. What on the shotgun side needs buffs is a release of prime tactical pump and/or prime seeking fury.

Nekros Prime: Faster casting speed,

Nope, his casting times are solid/hammer in how each ability should be used.

more health and armor,

Prime should have kept 90 base shields and have 150 (or even 175) base hp, but is still functional stats (tho personally i think nekros along with saryn and atlas should be shieldless frames with a secondary supplementary stat like nidus).

reverting or allowing terrify to remove Armor again,

Terrify already removes armor

and Shield of Shadows to give more damage reduction and limit cap for power strength. This can make Blind Rage and Umbra Intensify at max can put them at 95% damage reduction.

Area where shield of shadows should be buffed in its CC/Status immunity. Currently it attempts to transfer such effects to shadows, but that is filled with bugs/different implementation issues.

Lastly the 1st ability Soul Punch can use a buff to scale or a rework to function like Titania’s buff ability.

Its damage could scale (garuda, oberon and revenant all have % damage skills, same could be for soul punch), but titanias tribute as tribute on its own was worthless, it finally now got a use as the razorfly generator. If you mean the "how much it ccs"/how titania tribute is always a weak knockback, it already does that if you angle it from same or slightly lower elevation without the enemy being right against a wall. Nekros just has more choice and very slight amount of extra skill to it along with better cast freedom (the soul punch cc mechanic in general needs a explanation in the tips tho).

To correct some of my post. A week before Nekros Prime release he was reworked without prior statements.

His Terrify could be used 2 to 4 times to remove armor permanently after each cast. Instead it removes some of the armor during the duration. That ability like others used to affect the Kuva Guards too a few weeks into the Update for Kuva Siphons release.

Desecrate had a higher drop rate. The press to desecrate was turned into a ability to turn on. It lost some desecrate chance for that change. The chance didn’t need to be reduced.

The Shadows used to come in a pack of 2 dozen tops. That ability and Desecrate was part of how teams lasted hours in Endless Void Survival towers. This is before Specters of the Rails which turned our Void Tower keys into single use Relics.

Now their casting speeds are slow. Take Vauban and Mag for example. Old Vauban before the rework could spam his gadgets fast. Now he tosses Bastille in a over dramatic animation. Here’s supposed to throw them with fineness, not toss Pokéballs. Mag on the other hand received a cast animation speed increase a few months ago for their 4th ability.

For his weapons they haven’t aged well.

The Khom could beat it in status chance with a Riven included. Gibbing the enemies into as many bits were best in mod farming and Rathuum farming for Endo. The Tigris Prime is heavy damage; but now it has to be buffed up; so it’s not completely ignored for Kuva Khom.

Galatine Prime can use speed buffing and damage buffing if possible; so it’s best in the spin combo while gibbing enemies. Gram Prime can be used to hammer enemies.

While we did get a few primed mods for shotguns the insane buffs we would like either has to come OR the Tigris Prime can use more buffing.

Other characters like Ash and Mag got small brush ups on their kits. It’s possible to improve Nekros and their weapons likewise.

Maybe Soul Punch can be reworked to paralyze enemies and pull damage resistant from the. Trinity can do something similar to stacking survivability; so Nekros can have that bonus too.
