Friends Account

Not sure this is the right place for this so feel free to move to the correct category. My clan mate has been unable to access his account for a while as his email account was hacked and he lost access to it. He can't verify his warframe account due to it going to said email, He has sent a few support tickets (i have witnessed it as me and a few other clan members like to LAN party it so to speak) with no reply. I was wondering what he can do. Does he just have to wait until support get around to his ticket? (bearing in mind they are a few months old now)  

It's a shame because we are a clan with a few founders (i know this doesn't make us more important but #JustSayin)

All he can do is wait and unfortunately creating multiple tickets pushes him to back of the line so to speak (and makes the ticket wque longer for everyone else too). Never create multiple tickets, bump the old one instead with any relevant information about the issue.

There are several months between tickets, He has sent max 4 in 12 months. with not even a reply. All he needs to do is change his Email in his account but his former Email address is needed for "verification" so is unable to change it. We have been here since U#6 or 7 (i forget, not sure why this is relevant but hey ho lol)

The forums are unable to assist with account issues, your friend needs to wait for support to reply to their ticket, if they have not had a reply in a long time (month or longer) then "bump" the current ticket with additional information or a reply letting them know its still a issue. Do no create additional tickets on the same issue as this only delays the response time for everyone.

First, change your password(s) immediately. You can change your Warframe account password here: https://warframe.com/resetpassword.

Next, contact Warframe Support and provide us with as much information about the situation as possible. This will aid our investigation greatly, which will in turn help to resolve your situation faster.

As a further precaution, you can enable 2 Factor Authentication (2FA) on your PC account. This feature provides an additional level of security to your Warframe account and will help to prevent unauthorized access.

To activate 2FA, log into your Warframe account on our website and navigate to the Account Management section or go to https://warframe.com/user. Here you will find the option to Enable Two-Factor Authentication (see screenshot below). Upon first login after activation, Warframe generates and emails you a code that you will need to enter before you log in. The code changes every few minutes and can be used only once. This process will need to be repeated on every PC you will use to play Warframe. It is therefore very important that you use a valid and trustworthy email address. Please also know that future email changes can only be made while you still have access to your email address.
