Let's get this straight: In my opinion forma is almost worthless.
A potatoe costs the same and is much more valuable.

Of course forma can drop in void-missions and it's good to give a weapon it's final touch.
But it's still less efficient than a potatoe.

So what if we gave forma a little buff? Just a little, to make it more usefull?

Here is my suggestion: Formaing a gun or a warframe should buff it's stats. That's all.
Of course It would be a tiny buff, it would only happen once or twice, and it would never affect damage directly.
Like giving a weapon slightly less recoil, a faster projectilspeed or a bigger magazine (e.g. formaing the supra would give it a mag.-cap. of 95 and a projectile speed of 43).
Formaing a warframe would polish his most important stat about 3% up (Rhino gains armor, nyx powerduration and loki speed).

Or if  you consider even those small buffs to OP just add visual changes, like badges, emblems, special textures or pink sparklz (not the last one).

No. Forma-ing stuff is meant for players who have something they like, a frame or a weapon, which they want to enhance. Its sort of end-game content AND money sink hole at same time. Forma-ing stuff allows you to equip a lot more mods on higher ranks. We are already walking gods with insta-kill weapons, there is absolutely no need to increase it further.

Nah. Formas are cheaper, more abundant potatoes and it should be as such.

 

EDIT: If you love something, accept it for what it is. Its good, its bad, everything.

Performance enhancers isn't the right thing.

Forma are very powerful, allowing you to equip a potentially devastating mod where you could not previously.

You can't get the most powerful weapon in one hour, it takes a lot of time.

If you can't see any point or power in Forma, then you're either a power hungry fool or simply inexperienced.
