Consider adding NPC Quest and Enemy Knowledge

Hi DE,

Can we have a side Quest/Tasks and gaining knowledge for specific enemies by killing them in amount,

Example for the common infested enemy: enemy-name [knowledge identifier] (make it numerical if you want)

Charger [SSS] = Kill Chargers x 100,000, reward drop amount multiplier x 0.9 drop chance multiplier x 0.9 for charger
Charger [SS] = Kill Chargers x 50,000, reward drop amount multiplier x 0.7 drop chance multiplier x 0.7  for charger
Charger [S] = Kill Chargers x 10,000, reward drop amount multiplier x 0.5 drop chance multiplier x 0.5 and Unlock NPC with side story why he become charger.
Charger [A] = Kill Chargers x 1,000, reward drop amount multiplier x 0.5 for charger
Charger [B] = Kill Chargers x 500, reward drop amount multiplier x 0.4  for charger
Charger [C] = Kill Chargers x 250, reward drop amount multiplier x 0.3 for charger
Charger [D] = Kill Chargers x 100, reward drop amount multiplier x 0.2 for charger
Charger [F] = Kill Chargers x 50, reward drop amount multiplier x 0.1 for charger
Charger [???] = Less than 49 - unknown enemy

If drop multiplier is too bad as a reward, just changes it to additional attack damages

For NPC, it's just like the above example but instead of killing we're doing their daily quest, for example, get some fish or whatever, and if we reach the Rank SSS give us at lease a reasonable reward and permanent incentives like increasing operator HP or Armor by 2 or 3.

Having them in the codex or view profile would be nice, just for bragging rights

I’m not a veteran but I’m already MR 28 and having almost all obtainable items in-game and because there’s no something todo I just open Warframe as a live wallpaper.

As a developer, I know this will take a lot of code changes and DB space and might take a year or more of development, but I hope you look forward to adding a playable content.

Thanks and Regards,

@Hixlysss but you can't call that a game play. it's just like a moving bar code.

Ha, someone has never heard of Pokemon Snap. That aside, I was pointing out that having them in the codex was already an option. While I would love the idea of "get bonuses for X number of scans/kills of enemy types" I feel that would be something DE does for like...something really unique, like mods that get bonuses based on how many kills they have made to enemies.

Yes, listing them in the codex was already an option but adding a kill count ranking to get a bonus is additional. Example scan the enemies first to identify them in the codex after that there's a hunter NPC that will give us a kill quest and mod that will need to equip in order to count the kills, after completing the quest the mod will be surrender to NPC and it will reward us with permanent boost for tenno and Mods that have dedicated slot that contains title to showoff and special effect or damage effect.

and to upgrade the Mod from standard to prime we have to take another kill quest and surrender the existing mod after completing the quest.

We have mods that give faction damage, I think having mods that give damage to specific enemies might be...a bit much? But I also don't think it would be too straining on DE depending on how it's implemented...and the amount of bonus. And if you can have multiple equipped...

Simaris pretty much fills the position of what you're looking for, except instead of killing it's scanning, and we don't get bonus damage or ect from scanning enemies, we get to know their weaknesses.
