To all people whining about "powercreep" killed HEK: HEK and Gorgon died long time ago, thanks to dropoff addition and huge accuracy nerf. SW and Soma have nothing to do with those weapons being bad.

Hek remained viable after damage falloff ranges were readjusted(the fix that came after falloff was first introduced), and was still a good option after the Sobek was released as it was a lot easier to use. Even after Strun Wraith was introduced, the Hek was an OK gun, but the Strun Wraith and Sobek(in skilled hands) outperforms it by far. The Hek isn't really a good example of why power creep hurts the game since it's still pretty powerful, but that doesn't mean that power creep itself isn't a problem.

 

Gorgon wasn't so bad after the accuracy nerf, it just became quite obsolete when it stopped mowing down crowds as quickly, enemy levels were raised and everyone and their mothers were using Bratons and Boltors. It's not Soma's fault for making Gorgon bad, it's DE's fault for designing Gorgon to be bad.

well,don´t forgett that Gorgon is a rly old gun and the game change often.The most old guns aren´t that good anymore...maybe the armor update will change it again

The point is that a weapon shouldn't be weaker than another because it's older. It should be weaker because it's easier to get or belongs to a lower tier.

and atm gorgon is rly easy to get and low tier, maybe after the remove it gets a total rework and come back
