Trade window became overlay, caused loss of control

Recently while trading, at my end the game showed the trade window has "Waiting on other player" to accept. On their end, it was completed. Cancelling the trade did what it was intended to, until we traded again (to complete the 8 item trade).

At this point, the "incomplete trade" overlayed itself over the current trade. When we cancelled out of that trade, it just stayed overlayed. I could not move or exit this non-menu, only use the non-menu and chat functions I had to Alt+F4 and restart the game to "get out" of the non-menu.
