Multiple Saryn interactions

How do the abilities from multiple Saryn work together? I often see more than 1 Saryn at a time in ESO and was curious. I assume that each has a separate counter tracking their own spore count / damage, but can anyone confirm that? Can a single target have spores from more than 1 Saryn? Also, will a Toxic Lash attack still spread spores from a different Saryn?

In short, yes.  A single target can have spores from more than 1 Saryn.  But each enemy only has a limited number of spots to grow spores, so they will be competing with each other and have diminishing returns.
