A new star system with maybe a new faction. 2. Maybe a second new system but this is Purley for clans we're they can have a territory and they can take from others and have there's taken. DaraSilverDragon Posted July 9, 2021 Share Posted July 9, 2021 1) We already suspect that's where The New War may be heading, but that's also an insane amount of work - if it IS coming, it won't be for a long damn time. 2) We had this already - the Orokin Lab in clan dojos was dedicated entirely to this territory-grabbing system, and was eventually closed down and rendered dead content. 3) Orbiters are not combat-capable. They have no weapons - only a void-cloak field, and a deployable air-to-ground systems delivery projectile that can provide things like turrets to ground missions. They're not even well armored, we see Vor's nipple-laser take one out in a single shot in literally the very first mission of the game. We helped take away Umbra's pain, why not Ordan's ...severely boosting our orbital drop abilities to the point where they're actually not just a waste of the time it takes to select off the gear wheel, maybe even steel-path viable *select orbital turret from gear wheel* "AC-130K inbound."
