Smilomaniac
How long has it been since you've done something with this? Isn't it time for an overhaul? The various axis' and rotations are very limited, my guess being that it's to line up a hand grabbing the hilt and maintain a minimal illusion of the weapon being somewhere that makes sense. In reality there's plenty of clipping going on and most of the placements are awkward to look at, interfering with syandanas, other weapons or what have you. I'd imagine most people would be happier with a 'ghost grab' where the warframe's hand goes to a predetermined spot and the weapon just teleports to the hand (if this isn't happening already). Either way, it'd be very much appreciated if we finally got some better placement/adjustment options and/or more range in where we can put them. A classic example would be to take a heavy blade on the hip and put it on the small of your back, where it fits aesthetically nicely, unlike the rather obtrusive over-the-shoulder slot that messes with other things (syandana/primary). Sure, there'll be more weirdos having holsters that are out of place, but we already have jarringly weird and ugly 'fashionframes'. Would be nice to get better placement options, especially since you pay for the holster styles.
