Mayvix/Mentle: Eye in Between (Warframe Concept)

It has a disturbing eye between the fingers crushing its head. It looks about seemingly randomly, completely separate from the actions of the warframe itself. I have no idea what it is it's looking at. It seems to teleport in front of organic opponents whenever they blink. We deployed moas thinking such a paltry attempt at inciting fear would be nullified, but it took advantage of the refresh rates of their optics.

I'm starting to think it can travel through walls. It's often found dangling about in haphazardous positions within walls and energy fields, completely frozen. If someone gets too close or pokes it -depending on whatever mood it seems to play by- they found themselves dead and the warframe had just barely budged from its position. It has also been found wandering void-bound vessels based on reclaimed footage from expeditionary groups. The warframe actively harasses the very nature of that fascinating place somehow.

Its disturbing nature isn't too dissimilar from that warframe made of giant hands...

~Corpus scientist journal after reviewing moa footage on Mayvix

Concept: Mayvix, or Mentle, shares traits with Cantus of Hands. Some consider it to be the knuckle to Cantus' finger. Where Cantus' abilities lie in its ability to grasp things on a physical and conceptual level, Mayvix's abilities lie in it doing the opposite and loosening the grasp of other things in the same elements.

Both Mentle and Cantus seem to originate from another concept not too dissimilar to the void, although any records of their creation have yet to be found. Whether the orokin themselves created these warframes based on some other mathematical formulae or a rogue element did has been left to speculation, but they were still given the ability to interface with tenno. Perhaps the math isn't too dissimilar after all... Regardless, these warframes mess with reality around them and their mere presence brings about the ire of the void, terrifying and confusing their foes in equal measure, but with different methods.

Mayvix likes to toy with perceptions and actively destroy the ability to properly interact with the physical world.

Oh, the tasteless void and empty fillings around us do ever grow our stomachs. Such a delicious aroma and sight.

Appearance: (I can't draw, so you must suffer writing) Mayvix's head is just two giant hands crushing something between them. Thin bits of 'flesh' leak from between the fingers, but a single, large, human-like eye is revealed between the right hand's open index and middle fingers. Whether it belongs to the warframe or whatever it's part of is left to the imagination of whomever stares at its unending rolling and searching. The wrists of the hands twist at the back of the 'head' to form a twisting tail that acts as the warframe's spine.

Its body is a twisted mess that sprouts from the fingers of the 'head'. It looks like an interwoven plant of metal and infested flesh; creating a tube-like appearance similar to that of muscle fibers. As such, there aren't many details that can be perceived apart from lights glowing in the small openings of its artificial body and a few ethereal hands that rise from the surface of its body briefly before dissolving back into it.

Idle Animation: Stands still for a few seconds before twisting itself in the form of a stretch and stops moving again. It can stretch with both arms up and its left leg raised slightly, tilting it to the right. It will crouch and extend both arms and a single leg forward.

Sometimes looks around and the fingers of its head move around, producing a sickening squelching noise.

Stats:

Health: 600 Rank 1/ 2600 Rank 30

Shields: 0

Energy: 150/250

Armor: 225

Abilities:

Passive: Unquenchable: Mentle's mere presence disturbs the space around it. Enemies can trip, see their weapons jam, or even just miss it entirely when they fight it. The more are around the more effective this ability becomes. With twenty+ enemies around, rifts to the unknown space open up around Mentle and cause random status effects to enemies.

1st Ability: What is here?: Mayvix crushes its head brutally with its actual hands, creating a shockwave that reaches for 4/5/6/7 meters around it. While the ability does no damage, it causes all sorts of ailments to befall the enemies around it. Haunted by the wrongness of Mayvix, enemies will freeze in place, try to run away, or begin attacking their fellows around them. Because of the properties of the other place, enemy damage gets boosted 10/20/25/30% of the potential damage of the player's primary weapon with its mods (toggleable for which weapon's damage they use?).

2nd Ability: Tasty Blix: Using the gaps within its body, Mayvix unleashes 5/6/7/7 'finger nails' that fly around it to attack enemies around. They deal 50/75/80/95 damage per hit, last 10/12/15/18 seconds, and leech 8/9/10/12% of that damage as health. They each attack every 2 seconds and have 1 pierce-through.

3rd Ability: Suggestion of Physics: Mentle turns an ally warframe into a bubble of disconnect. The bubble reaches 2/2/3/4 meters around them and protects them from 60% of bullet attacks and grants them a weaker version of Mentle's passive.

If the target is Cantus, then the ability instead turns into 'Reaching Embrace', causing the hands covering Cantus' body to multiply and fly off its body in a violent explosion that reaches 6 meters around it. A few hands survive that twisting of physics and run around to latch onto the faces of the survivors or those outside of the explosion. Grants them 100/200/300/400 temporary overshields.

4th Ability: One Being Everywhere: Mayvix's eye widens, and the warframe's whole body tightens like something is pulling it apart by its feet and head. When it retracts, several versions of it pop up around the map, attracting the attention of nearby enemies. 4/5/6/8 versions pop up partially clipped into the walls, floors, energy shields, lockers, etc. When enemies touch them, they explode, dealing 500/600/700/800 damage in a 6 meter arc reaching 160° based on the area the enemy touched it, permitting multiple explosions if in the middle of an area. the copies linger in one area for five seconds before moving onto a next. They do this 2/3/3/4 times, with each jump lowering the time they remain by half a second. Has a 25% chance of causing one of the ailments that What is here? can cause. Does not stack if they are already afflicted.

Spoiler

I was bored and the Zahriman reminded me of my Cantus of Hands. Thought I would do another 'other' and horror-esque themed frame. There's probably typoes. Won't ever get picked up so eh. Still cleaned what I could.
