This is terrible buff, and it's needs to go, because there are so many builds in the game that requires negative effect to abilities, and this ruins it.

And this one can ruin long endurance relic runs..

 

EDIT: I thought this was a new change, but as people mentioned below it's not, but I still disagree with this buff, because it messes with our warframe builds.

It's always been there and they are random, It's also not there to take into account your build and apply buffs like you want and for a full squad with everyone getting random buffs then there shouldn't be an issue, It literally can only make you stronger.

1. This buff isn't new, they just added an indicator of what buff you get from the relic cracking

2. It's one of my favorite buffs because it doubles your strength and range which can allow for some wacky fun. There's nothing wrong with it.

examples: speed nova, and low range stealth banshee..

The pop-up notification is new, the random buffs from cracking a relic have always been there.

Previously, the only indication was a "corrupted" effect that was applied to whatever got affected by the buff -- you can kind of see it in your screenshot on Titania's body. If you had received a weapon buff from the relic, your weapon would have the effect.

Upon opening the Relic, the player will also receive a buff to one of their equipped gear which gets corrupted for an amount of time based on the tier of the Void Fissure (time = 30sec × tier). The buffed gear will emit lightning bolts and gets a corrupted texture effect.

• Corrupted Warframes receive a 2x multiplier to Ability Strength and Ability Range.
  • This affects the total value, meaning with a maxed  Intensify for 130% Ability Strength will turn into 260% while the buff is active.
• Primary and secondary weapons receive unlimited ammunition and no longer need to reload.
• Melee Heavy Attacks don't consume the Combo Counter.

Or, as some other players suggested years back when Speed Nova became a thing, builds that incentivize negative stats should go, that way buffs are always buffs. Opinions, mate. Everyone's got em nowadays.
