No boosters/blessings since cross play

Ever since the cross play for Xbox and PC went out I and another player (im just the one reporting) have both noticed that any blessings or boosters we receive are never actually given. 

Example 1: Given a drop chance blessing while in a relay. Blessing is never applied

Example 2: Found and destroyed a special cashe (this singing ones) in a mission. Affinity booster "acquired" it does not apply. We finish the mission and it still has not applied. 

Example 3: Different account goes to a relay and asks for a blessing to test this. Given a credit blessing and it is not applied. 

I LOVE cross play but the boosts don't seem to be applying at all.

They are working for me.
Do they not show up on the HUD as active?
or do they show up but you don't see the effect of them?

Were the blessings given by PC players? (I'm actually not sure who gave my credit and resource drop blessings - i gave my self affinity and had all three in the next few missions I did.)

As an Xbox Series X player if i get a MR30 buff from any PC player, I will lose the buff as soon as I leave the relay.  If I had a previous buff with say 10 minutes on it from an xbox user and I go to a relay and get a fresh buff of the same type from a PC player and then leave the relay I will still have the original xbox buff with just a few minutes left, but the not the new pc one.
