Lich / Sister hunt need a minor change to evade a forseeable problem

Hi DE staff and happy new year, I would like to suggest a minor change to sister and lich hunt.

Reason: As the kuva and tenet arsenals get bigger, it is getting increasingly tedious to get the right spawn with the right weapon over and over again.

 

Solution:

A new function in the foundry that enables extracting weapon core unit from kuva / tenet weapons with their current progenitor element type and % (and destroys the weapon) ;

The kuva/tenet core unit can then be fused with any other kuva/tenet weapon (respectively) through the fusion option;

Weapon extraction segment BP can be researched and brought from clan dojo;

If possible: New gears e.g. Tenet Plinx Locator, Kuva Nukor locator etc can be sold at Maroo, refreshing daily, when a locator is equipped, the lich/sister spawn will have a matching weapon, the locator will break after successfully killing the spawn.

... we already have the weapon spawn mercy system

 if you reject a larvling/candidate, their weapon is removed from the spawn pool for subsequent attempts

But imaging there r twice as many kuva weapons as it is now, spawning the larvling will be a bigger chore than killing the lich, and that will repeat every single time even u already had the weapon in ur pocket and just want to max it.

you don't know DE very well

they won't be expanding the lich system, it'll end up abandoned as they move onto the next content island

A much more sensible system might just be to allow us to select the weapon we get from any given lich directly.

At the moment you can more or less do that if you use the mercy system, but it just means running the same mission over and over again as fast as possible until the desired weapon shows up, which isn't exactly fun gameplay.

No, it is not sensible. It is greedy and lazy.  Warframe is from the get go heavily RNG based. Then you want to remove the RNG from the farm of among the best weapons in the game. Making it even quicker when people already do sisters in less than an hour. Liches take a little longer.
