Will the new player's Drifter have their mask on for the entire time, until they reach Second Dream and New War? And will the new player's Drifter be implied to be a separate character from the Operator until Second Dream/New War? Also, after the new player transitions from Duviri Paradox to the Origin System, will they be locked out of Duviri until they finish Angels of the Zariman? Khold90 Posted March 5, 2023 Share Posted March 5, 2023 That's a lot of potential restrictions for someone just getting into the game and not looking at advertising by DE that have shown Operators multiple times. The game will most likely treat them as 2 separate individuals, maybe second dream when you leave your bed as the atrophied child instead of it being random it copies some of your Drifter traits like gender and skin colour. They have also already said that if you have not done AotZ then you can access Duviri through the star chart. After all, they're 2 separate timelines being told in parallel.
