When I do a ground slam, I rapidly descend, then pause, then slam the ground. Is that by design or some weird bug?

Anyone else have this sword/shield?

Just got it from daily login reward so I'm not familiar with this and it is strange since no other weapon ever did this.

Which stance do you run? Does it occur stanceless as well?

The aura was auto selected by WFs mod function and I don't remember what it was. I'm not in the game currently. I just auto installed mods to level it up and it selected the aura that's installed.

Eleventh storm? WF companion app shows that.

I use this. It is one of the Sword/Shield combo type melee weapons.
It can be a little confusing at first because it comes with a shield-throw mechanism.

If you double tap your melee key quickly it should initiate the slam attack both straight down or at the correct angle.
This is on PC though, so I hope it is the same on console as well.

Tried to double tap X and it does the same weird pause...oh well
