Flux Rifle?

I'd bought the blueprint pre-11 and had yet to craft it, yet I'm hesitant because I know some other weapons were severely affected by damage 2.0 in a negative way (acrid). So is flux still good or?

Still good but eh. If you want to kill things after 2.0 go for Synapse. Even though it takes awhile to get.

flux firing corrosive works incredibly well.

It's still a very, very effective weapon.  In pure damage, the synapse will win if you know in advance your target type.  Flux has an advantage in that it's got basic slash damage and isn't a crit build, so you can toss corrosion+cold on it.  That way, you'll have slash damage for flesh, corrosion for armor, and cold for shields. 

 

A jack of all trades, a master of none.  That said, unless you're facing enemies over level 30 or so, it will annihilate anything, and it holds up reasonably against higher level stuff, though it won't shine like a dedicated synapse will.  Course, you also won't be SOL if you run into something you're not modded for the way you will with a synapse.
