Mods increasing area of effect, please only show them if it effects the weapon.

Okay so look, both primary and secondary, there are a lot of weapons that appear to have an area of effect component that do not. 

Bow mods don't appear for rifles. Rifle mods don't appear for shotguns. If the mod has ZERO impact on the weapon's function, please do not show it as an option. I mean, unless it impacts say the area of effect that damage effects like GAS and ELECTRIC have, which I do not believe it does, it becomes only a source of confusion.

And I guess on that note. If GAS and ELECTRIC do AOE damage, why doesn't BLAST?

You are mixing two things. Damage type and Status Effects. All 3 status effects are aoe in certain way*, Blast status effect however, doesnt do any damage, hence its aoe doesnt do damage either,

*) Blast is usually applied by weapons who have secondary radial Blast damage effect

 

Which weapon we are talking about? If it does Blast it is either Redeemer or some kind of Launcher. Afaik all Lanuchers have radial effect (need to scroll down), Redeemer does not.
