  1. It would be nice if there were a character based api, not for modifying things in game really but for tracking things. I would lovelovelove to work in creating something to track what's mastered, what needs to be mastered, frames, loadouts, what mods you have, what mods you don't have... Maybe include something where you mouse over an unmastered item and it will pop up something to say where you get it, how you get it, and what it takes to craft it... I don't actually know very much about working with APIs at all, which is kinda the point, since I care about this game, it's a great opportunity to learn more about APIs. Right now my only real work with APIs is using weather.gov's API to create a forecast display with highs, lows, forecast description, 7 day outlook, etc. Was a fun learning experience but this is way more complicated which means way more interesting and educational. But they aren't going to do it.
  2. Out of curiosity. I work nights and am asleep during your usuall scheduled time. Can I tune in earlier in the day? Or do you just have to watch the stream for three hours, not specifically the live stream? I mean I get that you can't plan around everyone's schedule but it sucks for me that I'm always asleep when these things are going on. I don't really know how this stuff works so, sorry if it's a stupid question.
  3. If I may take a moment to introducce you to a game called Destiny. It doesn't surprise me you have not heard of it, as it is not a fun game to play, it's player base is among the most toxic in all of gaming, it is designed by an incompetent and greedy developer, and every weapon in the game feels exactly the same even though it's a "loot" and "build focused" game. In destiny, if a weapon or skill is fun to use, it is because it is bugged, a fact which the nerf centered playerbase is quickly to take note of, so that the developer can disable the weapon or skill for the next three months until they decide to put in the effort to fix it. That said, balance is a difficult thing to maintain, and sometimes things do need to be tuned down, but if they need to be tuned down because they are the only thing that is working, you need to address that problem as well. The problem with nerfing things is that it seldom addresses the actual problem, if it is problematic for most players to complete x without exploiting y, then x isn't, ultimately, the problem, y is. In Destiny especially, the devlopment team is quick to say "we don't want to make you feel like you have to use specific weapons to complete an event... So we are nerfing the weapons you were using to complete the event to remove their appeal." Yeah, or you could address the event being the problem. With destiny, the biggest problem is that they choose to make many of their events unapproachable. So in that, I kind of feel that people who would want this game to be more like that game should go back to playing that game. It is currently floundering for survival so clearly their design choices are not as wise as their defenders would have you believe.
  4. Just curious. Serration and HC have matching damage increase though obviously one reduces accuracy. Hornet Strike max damage is 220% where as MF caps at 165 like Serration and HC. I guess I just don't understand why. This seems like a bug that they just didn't bother to fix. given that you cannot use both. Well you can, you *should* not use both. I just don't get why, the two mods are intended to fill the same slot. ("Why would you use it anyway" trick I was taught with Fulmin when it released, sometimes too much accuracy is a bad thing, the reduced accuracy made it over all easier to use, this is true on some pistols as well)
  5. So it says if your companion has over 1200 shields *or* overshields, you get plus 60% fire rate. I assumed it meant either shields or overshields above 1200. Does it need to be bother shields and overshields? Because overshields alone aren't triggering it, at least not dante's overshields. Fire rate stays the same with or without overshields.
  6. You have enough mods to choke a blue whale. That's good and all, but seeing as there's only maybe, what, 30 at most that you would actually use on each part of your arsenal, can we please just mark mods that we want to stay at the front of the list so that we don't have to hunnt for them?
  7. Okay so look, both primary and secondary, there are a lot of weapons that appear to have an area of effect component that do not. Bow mods don't appear for rifles. Rifle mods don't appear for shotguns. If the mod has ZERO impact on the weapon's function, please do not show it as an option. I mean, unless it impacts say the area of effect that damage effects like GAS and ELECTRIC have, which I do not believe it does, it becomes only a source of confusion. And I guess on that note. If GAS and ELECTRIC do AOE damage, why doesn't BLAST?
  8. I mentioned this a couple of years ago and got no end of flack for it. But I'm going to mention it again. I think that multishot is a bad design choice and should be limited only to weapons where it is thematically appropriate. Weapons that fire bursts, shot guns, etc. The balance in the game is built around the idea that just about any weapon you use is going to be using multishot for a 2.5x modifier of damage. And. Sorry. If your balance system relies on your chamber somehow firing multiple bullets at once, that is just not a good design choice. I know that there are damage arcanes now, not that I'm in that area yet, but just about every weapon in the game you're going to have your damage mod, lets say serration, one to two multi shot mods, that by it self means that basically those mod slots should be considered non-existent. If you absolutely, positively, have to put a mod on the weapon for it to function, then for all intents and purposes that mod slot is deleted. It becomes a problem with enjoyable gameplay that more often than not you're going to be running the same hand full of mods, out of idk hundreds of them, because those are the only mods that actually matter. If weapons need a 2.5 multiplier on them to function properly, then they should just remove the mods and increase the damage by 2.5 times and allow there to be at least some breathing room in weapon builds for variation. You can only forma a weapon so many times. I get people are invested in it but it's just a bad design,
  9. It feels like I keep getting stuck in the throw animation, even when not trying to throw the glaive, and sometimes it even does the whole animation without me being able to interrupt it and then doesn't throw anything. I remember this being a problem back before I took a break from the game, wasn't expecting it to still be here when I came back... Or maybe that was fixed and this is something else, it's irritating either way.
  10. She's supposed to be a Magical Girl type thing if I heard correctly. A sailor moon type outfit for the operator would be fun.... And a nice rainbow transition animation for going in and out of your warframe would also not go amiss... Or really just an anime school uniform would be satisfactory.
  11. You cant use the app while logged into the game without it freaking out? It would be nice being out on one of the open world afreas working to some goal or another, getting a notification on my phone "hey this is done building." Just collect it, start up another one building...It just isn't enjoyable to have to go back to the orbiter just to pull something out of the hopper and put another in.
  12. Don't forget, they provide various brown paper bags to pull over their head.
  13. Bump from the distant past if artist is still around. I've been looking for something like this for my clan's dojo but most of the art I find I can't easily get in trouch with the artist. Would it bother you if my small (two to eight people at max) dojo used this for the emblem?
  14. So what I am hearing here is that oracle, barracks, all the rooms I never touch I have to keep because "That's just how things are." Well, is what it is then.
  15. *Listed as mods because I don't know what else to say. So, I'm the warlord in a tier 9 dojo, nothing special. Since cross save went live I now actually have other people who are in my clan. And my dojo.... Sprawls. To the extent that it is referred to as "Jinx's backrooms." or "The maze." Since there appears to be no system that I can just deconstruct the tiles into individual blocks and re-arrange them, I am slowly working on remodeling the place inch by painful inch. What I want to know is how many of my halls, barracks, etc, need to be retained because at this point most of them are just empty rooms. I'd rather just have my forest main hall with labs and drydock, navigation center, necessary generators, and a few private rooms for clan members to decorate as they wish. I know I have to keep an oracle for what ever reason but with halls and main halls and great halls and grand halls and.... there has to be some of this mess I can delete.
