Operator Hair Highlight and Hair Tips colors not working on basic hairstyles

After the update I noticed my Operator hair color wasn't displaying the same as it used to, so I played with settings, tried highest graphics settings, and ultimately it seems like only the first color option is affecting the basic hairstyles at all.

Here's examples from on Nintendo switch:

And here's ones from PS4:

It doesn't seem to affect the more complex premium hairstyles when I preview them, just everything numbers 18 and below.

I think this might be intended and not a bug. In the thumbnails you can see some styles use two bright colors (mostly the purple/pink combo) to show those hairstyles use two different colors. Your examples that are 'missing' the tip color in game have a darker more natural hair color in the thumbnail/picker window. I think that is a hint it is a 'basic' hairstyle that only uses one color channel.

Well, if that is how it is supposed to be then the hairstyles that can't use the highlights and tips should not have that as an option. This is just my opinion.
