whats a good all around build for this gun

put all the damage mods on it first of all. Since it has impact and penetration you should build this specifically for greneer and corpus. Best build for greneer would be to have just fire as the element or if you forma it 1-2 times you can put on corrosive. For corpus its should be obvious that you need electromagnet above all else. If you like the shotgun a lot, forma it a few times and you can add a fire-rate mod or clip capacity mod to make it more deadly.

Tainted Shell can help combat the Accuracy loss from Vicious Spread.

 

 

note, Sobek has no need to be spammy. that accuracy blows a lot of things away when you're hitting all Weakpoints.

 

 

due to being mostly Impact and Puncture though, it's not that amazing against Infested. but Blaze does help compensate with the Fire Damage ;)

so Sobek can be a great all rounder.
