Please let us use ascent fusion on emerald, violet, and topaz shards.

It would always have been nice but especially so now with the status and armor rework making it so having one tau emerald shard with corrosive max status buff is now actually competetive with having two non tau emerald shards.

Yeah this absolutely works. I used 3 violets and 3 emeralds to make tauforged variants for Dante before he was gutted.

Slightly off topic but full armor strip will always be better if you can utilize it. The trade off is 1 archon shard slot vs 15% DR. 

98% armor strip makes enemies have 54 armor which is 54/(54+300) = 15.25 damage reduction. Might not seem like a lot but it kinda is. It's the equivalent of removing 1 or 2 mods from your weapon.

On topic, i'd like them to add reverse ascent fusion. If we can create Tau shards we should be able to break them down into regular shards. While we're at it, allow us to trade shards for different colors. New shards (topaz/violet/emerald) are nowhere near strong enough to justify their cost. 6 regular shards for 1 Tau is ridiculous. Either nerf cost or increase effects. Also, 90% of the effects of new shards are trash and unusable.
