Heciphron drop chance

Ok, so I am farming necromech to do the quest, and I got 3 pieces of Heciphron mineral in 2 hours, am I doing something wrong? Is it that rare? And I need 40 to craft voidrig, how am I supposed to do this, omg...

• Use the right drill (as in not the Fortuna one - it tends to be bugged for Cambion Drift).
• Play the mining game correctly (many players just click randomly).

PS: In my personal opinion mininng and fishing in Cambion drift is a complete waste of time. Just do more Vaults and maybe a couple of Obelisks, you will need the drops anyway. You should already have all the requied material if you farmed Vaults (you need to complete the escort for the goodie room).

Ive found the best mining to be in the vault. Run the vault and after, do some mining.

Oh and I've felt having a smeeta increases the chances of a rare mined reward.

And witch drill I must use? I have Sunpoint plasma drill and I have same problem, no Heciphron drops 😢

Hey. Advanced Nosam Cutter, Tier 3 drill, available from Old Man Suumbaat in Cetus at Ostrons: Rank 4. It is slightly worse than Sunpoint for both PoE and Fortuna mining (because it lacks the chance to get the bracket minigame for guaranteed rare), but seems to have better results in Cambion Drift.

It's not fixed, I got more necratene than heciphron (using sunpoint drill), if I add embolos and xenorhast it will be 2 times more. "uncommon" is more rare than "rare"

The southside Cave system near catabolic gutter is good spot with the nosam cutter

I use the sunpoint drill (the fortuna one) and it works on the blue veins. It is dependent on distance from home (home on Cambion Drift being the Necralisk). Try the caves that are far from the Necralisk, my luck has served me well there. When you start getting Dagonic, start looking at the map to see if you are too close.
