Hi there, please post a screenshot if at all possible. It sounds like you might be misunderstanding the nature of the Platinum discount? Often you might get an offer for a % bonus platinum with the purchase of a Platinum pack. 

We reworked how Platinum Coupons & Discounts worked last summer.

 In the past, on consoles, you might have seen a promo that offered you % discounts on items in-game. Based on what you're describing, you likely received a promotion that offers 75% Bonus Platinum with the purchase of a regularly priced Platinum Pack.

I am also very confused about the 75% bonus platinum. I bought it anyway, but buying 170 platinum for 9.99 on the Apple App Store does not give you a total of 297 platinum. The way I read it is 75% bonus platinum is 170 + 127. Just my 2 cents.
