Arbitration Shop Update

It's far past time to update the Arbitration shop. In particular, it's time for the arbitration arcanes to be available for purchase with Vitus essence, as well as the drop-only mods. Vitus Essence has limited value as is (once you have the glavanized mods) and many of the rewards people are interested in are locked behind RNG drops from long runs, which are hard to get outside of the extremely dedicated sub-communities, which are VERY GATEKEPT (extremely strict meta and absolute adherence to optimized tactics demanded, very low bar for being kicked out and banned). Most runs outside these organized groups refuse to ever go to the round counts needed for good reward drops, with many pogs actually leaving after only 1 rotation (due to the no-bleedout/no-self-rez restriction, arbis are very much 4 players or none for long round counts, so one person leaving ends the run for everyone), and the arbitrary-feeling 1/hour lockout making this a very bad experience for anyone not willing/unable to deal with the hard core demands.

The arbitration store dates from before "pity shops" were truly a thing in the game and needs to be updated to make Vitus Essence valuable again, instead of nearly everything of value being locked behind huge round counts.

Outside of the hardcore discord servers, it's already dead. Just imagine how completely dead Tyanna pass would be if you couldn't even build up crystals and had to depend solely on drops for everything (as opposed to only somewhat dead due to the grind even with crystals being too long compared to others).

Tyana pass drops a frame (and people want two copies of it) and one pretty useful arcane that is still pretty valuable compared to some of the legendary ones. There is enough grind for everyone interested.

No one gets the stuff from Tyanna as drops. They get crystals. The occasional drop replaces a few crystal purchases. If you could ONLY get via drops, no one would do it. Same things with Lua, etc. It's barely acceptable for something like Gauss normal due to the mechanics allowing for such fast farming. The unforgiving nature of the arbis is a welcome challenge to play a bit of, but a chore to farm.

That's what arbitrations are like right now for the average (non-arbi-hard-core) player. They get the galvanized mods and a couple others from the shop and then never look back, because the pitiless grind for the remaining items is so bad and the community that focuses on them is likewise among the most toxic in the game.

For me they Killed it with removing permadeath, now its only index 2.0 in worse and i only play it solo ore with friends. I still hope for a SP version that would be realy nice.

For me Vitus Essence still have a value to buy Kuva. Maybe when you wait for Suv and take one of the much Warframes that can't die it would get easier for you.

Yes, you farm thee currency (Vitus essence) - you buy stuff in shop. Drops from actual mission are a bonus, that can may you keep going for collector reasons. Once you are able to get those drops from shop, you kill the hazard dopamine part and it just becomes boring grind.

Except that unlike other places with a currency a large number of items are DROP ONLY. They cannot be bought with Vitus. You can't call something a bonus if it's the only source. Making them purchasable with Vitus is literally the entire premise of this thread.

For reference: Arcane Bodyguard, Arcane Pistoleer, Arcane Tanker, Arcane Blade Charger, Arcane Bodyguard, Arcane Primary Charger, Adaptation, Combat Discipline, Aerodynamic, Shepherd, Melee Guidance, and Swift Momentum can be obtained ONLY from mission drops and CANNOT be bought for essence.

The only other way to get the arcanes is for Vosfor (in a pack including the acolyte arcanes which are what people have tons of extras of and are using to get Vosfor, so randomly rolling more is an absolute waste) and the mods are not obtainable any other way. NONE of them have a drop rate over 5% in the mission tables, and several are only in A or B rotations (which given arbi runs AABCCCC and can only be done one time/hour makes it even more ridiculous to get them without a coordinated group). These should all be added to the shop for essence just as every other shop in the game has its associated arcanes in its respective pity shop.

Side note: most of the hard-core organized groups optimize for Vitus Essence to farm Kuva, actively not for round completion (trying to slow walk mission types where this is possible for more drops), making the round based drop only items even harder to obtain.

You did not read that carefully, did you? Yes, that is the very point, that they are drop only. They can be bought (and sold) with plat though.

Not usable on any of 3 Bosses Titania shines (Lephantis, Plague Star, Orovyrm), not really needed in any other content. Pass.
