Could this imply a drifter appearance rework with 1999 update?

There appears to be a couple new tiers for the Quest to Conquer Cancer and the $130k goal is a "Unlock a never-before-seen Drifter concept art coming in the 1999 Update." hmmmm very interesting if I do say so myself...

No reworks, likely just Concept Art that never made it into the modeling process. It's just good marketing.
Sometimes, Concept Art for projects never get released because the final product is vastly different.
Other times, it's entirely up to the artists to decide when they want to release it.
Back in the age of blogging, there were Japanese developers who would put Concept Art on Developer Blogs.
Sometimes there would be handwriting describing the rejected concept.

the only thing is that it says "coming in the 1999 update" meaning it was made specifically for 1999. They could be reworking on some design, maybe adding some cosmetics for the drifter. And concept art isn't specifically for things that never made it into the modeling process, it's something created as a initial design, but that doesn't mean it gets scrapped. DE also likes to show off concept art that does end up in the game as well.

Though on the other hand, making the rejected concept art a real cosmetic would be cool, as a non-canon sort of thing, for the sake of eternalism as we all know
