Ps4 & Pc Cross-Play?

So, i've been looking around. I'm sure this question gets asked a lot.

 

Context: 

I've been playing Warframe on and off with my PC since it launched into closed beta. My cousins just got a PS4 (one for all three of them... rich bastards) and they play Warframe all day ever day. I would like to play with them but I can't afford a PS4. 

 

Can someone update me on the yay or nay of cross-play? Is it going to happen? Have they been looking at it? I understand that it's a Sony decision, and out of the hands of the game devs. 

 

Anything?

The devs said they were expecting to get it set up by 11.5, but they had some issues and won't be able to get the builds in sync as soon as they'd hoped, specifically saying 'probably not this month.'
