xGryphus
It may seem that it's matter of taste however in case of Oberon it's far beyond that. Although he looks perfectly fine in promo art: As far as I admire the great job of art team and multiple details on this model, at closer look it turns out his proportions are terribly disturbed. He got an overly bulky torso (that it's strangely widest right in the middle) and slim like twigs hands that just doesn't fit. Now I get that it suppose to represent some stag-like features however in current sate (and believe me on this one as a soon-to-be vet doctor) Oberon looks like a calf standing on two legs. Now some visual comparison:As you can see Vouban have the most similar body shape yet his torso is still slimmer and he looks much better simply because his hands match the rest. Oberon needs far more lean torso with it's widest point moved to chest and narrower waist. His body should be even more thin if his hands are going to retain current look. tl;dr Oberon needs some slimming. Silraed
Oberon's model is fine. Well when I say fine...I mean if you include the fact he looks like a couple other 'Frames mashed together.
xGryphus
All I want is that he keeps his goat legs. I also love his legs - overall the model is amazing. It's just his torso looks like a barrel.
SquirmyBurrito
I agree, his torso is too chunky.
littleal93
Don't get me wrong, I really like his model, but it doesn't exactly give off a paladin feel...

True to that - he feels much more duidish. Although I don't perceive this as a flaw. I also love the reference to midsummer's Night Dream in his same (hope for even more when alt helmet comes). It's only that his torso seems a bit too chubby for either: paladin, druid and, most of all, space-ninja... Especially compared to his twig-like hands. Silraed
Don't get me wrong, I really like his model, but it doesn't exactly give off a paladin feel... His model not even remotely matching his paladin tag is a whole other topic lol.
ElectiDei
His colors meld together slowly along the chest, head, and ankles, meaning I was able to color him to be extremely tree-like, and I love it. Don't shrink his trunk, don't chop down my tree.
Cepmosod
I'm really hoping they leave his original design, IF they decide to update him.
Vitras
A good one to compare him to would be the anorexic warframe: Nekros. Nekros's arms and legs is skinny and bony, and they made sure that his torso was too. Why not Oberon? I agree with this entirely.
Varzy
His torso is like that because it's designed like a tabard (sleeveless coat/tunic) worn over fullplate armor. It's the paladin aspect to his character. His limbs are slender because, again, stag. I don't doubt your knowledge of animals, OP, but I've had deer and stags roaming into my garden at home every now and then (I live in the country) and Oberon certainly evokes them to me.He's not the first frame to emulate clothing. Vauban's design evokes a big heavy coat, as does Frost and Volt's trenchcoat, etc. Edited December 25, 2013 by Varzy
Cinematic_30FPS
In case someone doesn't see the problem: He is shaped like a squash. Edited December 25, 2013 by Oboeshoes92
nasketon
His appearance is very unproportioned he's the only frame I can say looks fat! I hope they fix it along with some of his abilities
Rettycombine
What is also pretty off-looking is that his arms are like noodles, keep in mind that you gotta fit somebody into that armor, if his arms are that thin, Nekros just got beaten. unit-027
body= looks like excals skirt= like frosts back skirt thigh= rhinos thigh but much smaller waist= some sort of lokis and of course the thin arms with a touch of goat limbs and why a goat? MageMeat
The torso is shaped like armour. I don't really expect it to look too similar to the human torso.

000_Briarius_000
I think Oberon is fine. One thing I really like about this game is that it doesn't follow a trend in design or visual style, I think it's pretty unique and it has its own very stronge taste. Even though there are a lot of things in it which I honestly can't stand the looks of it like how ugly big is the Acrid, or Mag's poor, scuba diving suit look, or the Paris-prime to well designed, fancy look, still everything I've seen so far from DE fits to the game. Oberon is another weird creation and it's all good. Sure not paladin, more like a Faun oriented design, a crazy goat man who does kung-fu.
Enmity666
They should make his arms abit shorter. And make them resemble noodles abit more. Seems like a good idea to me, lol.
Rakaija
I think it's a sign of the modern generation's idea of 'overweight' that makes Oberon seem 'chunky'. He has a barrel chest, which is representative of old style knight's armor and the size of a stag's chest.
Goosmo
Oberon should give some of his torso to rhino because he looks kinda thin in the middle... For a heavy guy.
windsofdestruction
I think Oberon's arms are too thin, with the chunky torso makes him looks like an unhealthy patient. If his arms being thicker, the armor-like feel would be stronger, that should fix the torso problem. Freelancer27
Oberon could possibly be an old man, like a Splinter-like character build. I don't know.
