7grims
If we had 1 viper of the wraith version, it would be wraith viper. So why do we have twins, and they aren't twin wraith vipers? Thank you for reading the most stupid post ever :) I demand full attention of all DE personal on this horrible and annoying issue.

Nurmetya
Twin Wraipers Not Wraipers, Wipers just plain ol' wiper.
LukeAura
since wielding a pair of vipers requires more than a pair of vipers we're not wielding two vipers, but wielding dual accommodated versions of vipers. It's the wraith version of the twin vipers. Not two wraith vipers wielded together.
egregiousRac
I agree, OP. This has been bugging me all day. Mechanically, the name makes sense since it is a wraith version of the Twin Vipers, but construction wise the vipers are wraithed, then put together to be twin. It really should be Twin Wraith Vipers.
sambarpowder
it's not the vipers that are wraithified, it's the bonds of sisterly arbitration and love between them that mandates they be dual wielded.
WhiskeyGolf
Akviper Wraith. There, done. Note that all dual-wield guns (well, almost all) have the prefix "Ak", which I suspect is short for "Akimbo", which is holding two guns in two hands. Farge
If anything, it should be named "Twin Viper Wraiths" to be consistent with the other Wraith and Vandal weapons, which have Wraith/Vandal appended to the end of the name... Strun Wraith, Machete Wraith, Lato Vandal, Prova Vandal, etc.

WhiskeyGolf
Tenno dual-wields use Ak. Grineer dual-wields use Twin. True, hence why I said almost all.
TenkoTenko
True, hence why I said almost all. Vipers are Grineer guns though. The Wraiths are modified versions of them.
