Parry/guard Suggestion

The current parry/guard stance should not take stamina when not being actively used, i.e., only when you are being hit should stamina be taken.

That would leave it so folks are just standin around waiting to be hit. The way it is now forces you to use when you need it and to learn to time it appropriately. It's more skill-based the way it is than being able to block indefinitely until you were hit. Your teammates don't want to wait while you pose waiting to be hit.

this doesnt make sense. why wouldnt people keep moving while blocking?

In that case it should make me totally invulnerable for the half second or so it lasts. Right now it sucks up stamina and doesn't seem to do much.

Nobody will just stand there to be hit, there's nothing to gain from doing that. Why should blocking take your stamina when you're not actually blocking?
