Varius The Viral Frame

I noticed that there is only one elemental tank, frost as of now. Feedback is welcome. Varius: A tank that harnesses viral damage to cripple foes from the inside, weakening enemies to bolster himself.

Ability 1, Infect (30 Energy): Varius imbues his body with a deadly pathogen which seeps through glands on his skin. Varius then directs the substance in an AOE projectile, infecting all enemies within the AOE. The pathogen acts as a living swarm of disease, doing viral DoT with a 100% viral status chance. The viral status lasts for as long as a target is infected. If other enemies are within range of the original enemy targeted the pathogen will spread applying the same effect. The spread effect has a .5 second delay from target to target.

Ability 2, Metabolize (50 Energy): Varius accelerates the metabolic process of the pathogen inside infected units, stunning enemies but removing the affects of the infection. For each living enemy that is affected by metabolize Varus regains 1% of max health and energy.

Ability 3, Host (Passive): Varius periodically infects a single nearby enemy, the infection will act identical to that of ability 1, also spreading to other nearby enemies. When Varius and nearby teammates fall in battle the pathogen inside all nearby infected units metabolizes, stunning all units affected, and delaying the bleed-out rate of downed Tenno based on how many units were metabolized.

Ability 4, Swarm (100 Energy): Varius surrounds himself with a swarm of Orokin developed fleas, if above 50% health the fleas swarm around him, spreading and maintaining viral damage to all enemies within a large AOE as well as a 100% viral status chance. If Varius is below 50% health the fleas swarm protectively, healing Varius and mitigating 50% of incoming damage at max rank.
