Please Let The Alarm Have It's Own Symbol

It's a bit confusing seeing the lockdown symbol all the time. Maybe the alarm symbol

could be swapped to something like the windows audio symbol.

LOVE the new feature, but definitely needs its own symbol.

 I would vote for taking out the symbol completely.

 At this point everyone knows where the consoles that can be hacked are. If you don't want to turn the alarm off, you will have the symbol following you the whole time which is a nuisance...

The symbol needs to be removed, because ppl keep hacking the console to turn off the alarm, when it isn't necassary. Like in capture, mobile defense...

I came here to post this very thing. I see the alarm symbol pop on the minimap and I'm not sure if I need to hack the doors open again or if it's just to reset the alarm.

I'd prefer to just have the icon for this flat-out removed, it's a minor, optional thing, it doesn't need a minimap icon, perhaps it could be marked by Thief's Wit, especially if stealth will have some actual reward incentive.

 

At the very least, it needs a different icon, specifically, one that isn't yellow. Yellow is for objectives, things that are essential to mission success, which while overriding a lock down is, shutting off the alarm is not.
