The badge the only item that will distinguish people apart, but even then 3-4 competent players can do shield core with ease. Mods is cool but nothing extraordinary. Affinity Booster is handy but been waiting long for a chance to wear an event badge. Also because we get 2 Badges can put 1 on Sentinel! I really hope the Gorgon Wraith has some interesting quirk we aren't seeing yet though, right now it's looking near identical to the normal version.
