BrotherIcarus
I run warframe on a kind of crappy laptop for gaming and it runs ok on the lowest settings, there are some areas were the frame rate will become a problem but most of the time it is playable and enjoyable. Babellon
I run on a gateway nvj6r series, basicly a basic laptop...it handles the game pretty well. 8gig ram basic onboard graphics dual core processors 2.6 ghz I also use a clear.com hotspot device and it gives me very good internet connection with mobility to travel anywhere. I include the clear comment because you say you'll be traveling a lot. its a wireless device the service is basic 6mb for 50$. How ever when youre out places you don't really want to have to find a location to play. I assume. its good for privacy and practicality. plus their costumer service is exceptional. -Upgreid-
I run this game on an i5 3337 and get 55 or so FPS. 8gb RAM. How? Multithreaded rendering. :P Only cost me 550 bucks. Acer V5, touchscreen and 1 TB, brand new. Couldn't be happier.

(PSN)MyTagForHalo
See, the term laptop isnt the term it used to be, many companies make laptops that can run video games just fine... Mine plays just fine on my Asus G74, but i play with my friends on the PS4, so i dont use it for that purpose :P Cant go wrong with a Asus G series xD if your looking to get a laptop, specify a price range. Im sure we could help :P Edited March 13, 2014 by (PS4)MyTagForHalo

Saint_Morning
Depends on your specifications. If you have any modern laptop, then definitely; though the actual smoothness of it all depends on the specification, like I said. Played Warframe on very weak onboard grapchics awhile ago. Ran it juuuuuust fine on low-med settings. Edit: Also, what's your budget? Edit 2: Don't get anything from Alienware, unless you don't mind spending alot for so little. xveganrox
Sure, it plays well on my HP Envy 17-3270nr with an HD 7850m at max settings and 1080, at a playable 30-40fps. It also plays on my Retina MacBook Pro 13" with integrated Intel Iris graphics at high settings and 720p, as 30+ fps.

ServareVitas
I run warframe on a laptop from 2009... 4GB RAM.... It's playable but I have to have all settings turned off and set to low whilst running it in windowed mode 400x900 yeah it's a weird resolution, makes everyone look slightly taller than they actually are but doesn't seem to distort my enviroment. I love how you can play warframe in absolutely any resolution and can physically resize the window how ever you like. I've never found another game where it's possible to do this and in my opinion it's one of warframes most awesome and unique features because it essentially allows absolutely everyone to play no matter how awful their computer is.
