shut Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 (edited) I'm okay with it. The new system is timing-based, and having Fury at what it once was only discourages timed combos and encourages spamming. It also screws up the stamina system that was freshly redesigned specifically for Melee 2.0. Fury now has a new role-- to increase the pace at which combos can be done, which puts it at best use in the hands of skilled players. Keep in mind that Coptering doesn't seem to be hugely impacted by attack speed anymore. The whole mechanic has been revamped. Edited April 10, 2014 by SortaRandom

SlyBoots Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 yea, quite a few melee weapons are just slower, with fury nerfed on top. damage-wise it's a-ok cause that was buffed but some melee weapons just feel sluggish now.

Which is a bit of an issue considering its niche - charge attack annhilation - is kind of out the window now. My guess is that Stand mods speed up attack animations.
