Attacking A 0% Tax Rail: What's The Point?

The rail is there. No clans gets a benefit from it. Everyone who goes there gets massive xp, credits and resources.

If you attack it, you turn it into a boring and uninteresting press-4-buttons mission for 48 hours with all the bonuses gone.

You won't make a difference if you win or don't win with a 0% Tax rail. It's a massive waste of resources and every player's 48 hours.

DE's gotta change the conflicts to be more interesting. It's already easily noticable that barely anybody is playing these conflict missions. [Or we just need to make giant peace sign banners and wave them in front of the attacking clan's dojo]

Tip for the time being: Tell your clan tacticians not to attack 0% tax rails and instead go on them and have fun. Attacking a solar rail with no tax means you're basically against fun in this game and your greed or ego [or both] stops everyone from having a lot more fun than pressing 4 buttons and going to an exit.

Rails are basically free and there are plenty of clans to use them, so someone's always going to attack whether or not it's a good idea. I agree everyone should work towards defending existing tax-free rails, though.

And what if my idea of fun is controlling a node and gaining bonus resources and credits as tribute?

Then you're going to put all the resources into making a solar rail, wait for it to deploy, see barely anything happening for 48 hours and then have it destroyed.
