Ember Vs Oberon

Ember is a lot more fun and viable IMO. She has a lot of AoE damage if built correctly.

Ember is more dynamic and overall a bundle of fun, though some cannot handle how fragile she is.

Oberon as he stands now, imo, isn't really worth playing. You can get more rewarding and effective playstyles put of loads of other frames.

Oberon, he is versatile.

You will need a good team that will cover you, when playing Ember. If you solo a lot, then Oberon (he is quite useful in a team, too, but not outstanding).

Oberon : Heal and damage balance.

I prefer Oberon simply because he can heal himself, becomes a rather important factor in higher level missions.

Oberon and Ember are only similar in two regards - they can both deal damage, and they both have ground hazard abilities. However, Oberon trades some power for the ability to restore health and revive allies, while Ember focuses on AoE damage. If you want it to be put simply...

 

Pick Oberon if you want to have a reliable Frame that can survive on his own, deal damage, and help in a team.

Pick Ember if you want a moving inferno that can burn almost anything to ashes.

Ember is probably better for a newer player, get ignis and use accelerate for lots of damage

I like Oberon but I do a cc build using things like rage so it's a bit harder to obtain all the mods needed
