Grineer Warframe

Some Ideas for a new Warframe. It is based on the grineer faction. 

 

Players will have to build this warframe on the Grineer research lab in their Dojos.

 

Stats.

 

Speed - 1

Power - 100

Health - 100

Shields - 50

Armor - 1000

 

Low Health and Shield but a stupid amount of armor. Just like the Grineer

 

 

Powers

 

1 - Seeker - Releases a explosive ball that follows an nearby enemy and explodes (like the Seeker enemy)

 

2 - Get Over Here - does that lovely scorpion attack that everybody loves. (works similar to Valkyr's)

 

3 - Camouflage - Grineers won't attack you for 15 seconds

 

4 - Shockwave - Like the heavy gunners. Deals a small amount of damage but knocks down all enemies around for 8 seconds. It only stuns bosses for half the time.

The Ult seems like a VERY watered down Sound Quake, and wouldn't be effective at all e.e

There is no such thing as Grineer Tech Warframe, Corpus Tech Warframe or Infested Tech Warframe. All Frames are Tenno Tech, all Prime Frames are Orokin Tech. There are no exceptions.

 

1st is rather useless, the enemy will be dead long before the ball gets to him.

3rd is useless on missions other than Grineer
4th sounds like a Heavy Grineer blast, but with a tweak so it can be called an Ulti.

I don't see why there can't be Warframes modified by the factions.

What for? Only the Tenno can use frames. Grineer or Corpus modifying the Frames would be upgrading the enemies' technology. Why would Grineer or Corpus try to improve Warframes, if they cannot use them?

Interesting note; before it got Roar, Radial Blast was Rhino's third skill. It wasn't considered very good and that was as a 3 not an Ult.

 

As a side note, I agree with the people saying a Grineertech Warframe makes very little sense. Grineer inspired maybe, in a heavily armoured, moar dakka kind of way.

I think they'd be brainwashing (or trying to) the Warframes they're modifying. Wouldn't be too absurd, especially since the G-3 Codex implies/says they underwent mental conditioning, showing the Grineer are willing to at least try.

Warframe =/= Tenno

Warframes are the biomechanical suits

Tenno are the people inside

 

And - I dare to say - Grineer wouldn't be able to do anything with a Tenno. He'd either be rescued by a team blowing ut pthe entire lab afterwards or he'd kill himself to not let Grineer use him.

 

G3 codex says about some mental influence, yes. But remember, that all of the Grineer are clones of copies of clones of copied cloned clones, so their minds are rather "weak". Besides, G3 are even more influenced by the genetical deterioration, they are most probably $&*&*#(%&, like Tyrion's cousin, who was smashing beetles yelling "Khuu! Khuu!".

 

Weak minds are easy to control and alter. Our minds are not weak. And we have 24/7 contact with Lotus.

Actually the fourth is what rhino stomp used to be before they fused it with radial blast's damage, but kept rhino stomps huge range. Nobody remembers that? :( Rhino stomp used to do nearly no damage, just CC. Meaning this ult is actually awful in comparison lol
