Scrap Rng In Void Rewards. Linear Unlocks.

We all know why RNG sucks at the moment; Too many items. The items we actualy want are less likely to apear than crap, we have to regularly check the wikiin order to find out what we want to play (never a good game mechanic) and as a high ranking player it feels pretty unfair to see some rank 4 waltzing around as loki prime whilst you don't even have the easiest part to obtain after several hours and mountains of lancer-butcher-with-dera corpses. 

 

 

First: add ALL the gamemodes to the void tileset. Spy, sabotage and even hijack. 

 

Scrap RNG and earning everything as a team. 

 

 

Have something like: 

You win t2 MD once? Have a bo prime ornament. Your second game? Have an orthos handle. Your third? Ember helmet. 

That guy there is on his fifth game game whilst you're on the third? You get an ember helmet and he gets a boltor receiver. 

 

Survival, defence and interception? Every ten waves you get a new prime part. The waves between that? Keys, Mods and resources. 

 

New gear gets added and you're past the point of getting that part? You're garranteed to get that part after X amount of games/waves. On the other hand the other parts might be on a teir/gamemode that you're not far into. 

 

 

 

We get to the point when there's a crazy amount of crap and not that many gamemodes? Everyone gets a 'pick one' part. The one they picked changes whilst the one they didn't awaits next time. 

 

When you put your mouse over each void key it tells you what things you've yet to unlock from that gametype. Actualy; Even without linear unlocks that'd be a massive improvement.  

 

There's still a grind to it. You still need keys and DE could dilute the tables with mods/resources. Plus you could have one part of one weapon at.. Rank 1 T1 MD and another at Rank 12 T3 EXT.

i am liking this when read its sort my thinking just different in a sense....like how the game know you got a part that you already have and it will give you the parts that you need next on your gameplay to the next mission and so on...then after getting the game loot of the mission auto reset to a the Forma BP, resources or mods or fusion cores or whatever so on and so forth......

People would have everything inside of a week with that kind of mechanic. Not saying it's a bad thing, just consider what you're proposing. As far as Rank 4 noobs with Loki Primes go, there's a Prime Access pack for that; maybe they just bought it.

as a rnk15 player, i actually don't mind RNG grinding. I just wish DE would stop messing with the RNG tables to appease those that can't hang.

 

 

grinding for gear and selling rare items is one of the only things available to rnk15 players. having a vibrant economy is one of the fun aspects of this game

 

if they keep gimping the system to appease people who wanna play for 5 minutes and have all the cool stuff, what's left?

 

 

if you don't wanna grind, go play something else

Bear in mind some things do need multiple copies of the same drop. At what point would they begin looping? Because that's a LONG wait to build the Fangs that take two handles and two blades or a Bo that needs two ornaments.

I'm sure once we have the skeleton of a quest system, a lot of these problems will die soon after. We could have super difficult quests with the best rewards after them.

 

Also, don't pay attention to that goober Yamikeigo. He's grouchy.

Well, this is a hell of a lot better than the proposed token system.

 

You have all my yes's. I think this is a real solution here.
