Volt/ember insta dies on earth in rivers and other waterworks? Allied Hydroid abilities kill you as well? I suggest leaving it as is. Whilst it would make sense for Ember to be resistant to the effects of cryo failure in a mission, the others don't really have any reason to be resistant. (PSN)Bobtm0 Posted July 1, 2014 Share Posted July 1, 2014 I'm shocked this comes up as much as it does. The elementally oriented Warframes are elemental manipulators, not elemental beings. Just for the sake of reference, look at how things work in Avatar (the cartoon, not the movie with blue people). That prince of the fire nation who's name I remember but can't likely spell got his face burned by fire... but he can control fire. Same exact thing as how Warframe works. In that realm/story, the characters use different means to manipulate the elements. In Warframe we utilize our energy reserves to create the elemental effects. The only solution for resistance/immunity which fits the game's lore would to be having the frame's energy be drained whilst taking hits from an elemental source which matches their elemental control type. So yeah, it'd just be a hard nerf to Frost as he'd get a constant drain during the icy missions. Volt walking by an Arc Trap would be like walking next to a mini-Shock Eximus.
