A Few Questions About Melee

Charge attacks ignore armor people. Remeber your skana? Remember how it's charge attack did 75 damage to grineer? Guess what? That's what it does to Corpus too. Which means Grineer armor ain't applying to it. Charge attacks for melee weapons are separate from the normal attack/sliding attack/ and jumping attacks. Those are all considered Melee and are boosted by the pressure point mod. Charge damage and charge speed mods ONLY affect the charge attack.

Armor piercing mods are basically a 4th element. The way the game counts those mods is a % of your damage is added to your attack as that damage type. So AP mods always add damage regardless of what type of attack you're using or what you're hitting.

Each weapon has it's own critical rates, some have higher crit rates than others,and probably also varying crit multipliers Critical damage mods will always apply though. They go up to 90% for melee weapons. There wouldn't be much point in them if you were capped at 2x damage now would it? My plasma sword is definitely critting for more than 2x it's normal damage.

You asking for SS's? Get em yourself. When I first got my DHS's I was hitting 150 on everything on a charged attack. Thats proof.

And everything you said was pretty much what i said with details.

So thanks for proving me right even more. If no one can give the source to it a legitimate source as I've search all over wiki and forum and have found nothing of this rumor and have tested many times and yet no positive result and have been hearing weird things to like holding the charge attack for less will give less dmg which it doesn't it just cancel the charge attack and does it auto/default attack. The only thing I'm being pushy is I hate giving people idea that something does this and has zero proof and all test show negative feedback. by letting this slide the community will then get sucked up with the idea of this false information.

Releasing the charge early results in a default attack, the confusion comes from the Paris, which does have a half-charged attack option.

Using loki invis, to guarantee criticals I tested charge attack using a +critdmg mod and with no mods, the damage was the same. So to me it seems that critdmg doesn't effect charge attack crits, which kind of sucks tbh.

ancients. are the one considered the armored beast. test it on the green ones. as they hold the highest Armour.

Also those aren't heavy units. of grineer. The heavy units for them are Heavy Gunner, Napalm, Bombard,Commander

I've been testing armor piercing mods on charge attacks and they don't seem to do anything, someone was saying that they are just another element that adds dmg, so I guess they either don't apply to charge attacks or the innate AP on charge attacks negates it?

EDIT: Ok also while fighting some very low level guys Gram charge damage was strangely lower than expected, the wiki lists charge dmg as 200 and thats what I usually see; but behold this screenshot:

Edit2: and now im seeing 180 as the normal charge attack allways, think im loosing my mind, I give up.
