Spodermon
Hi guys, I just updated my driver (amd) to the latest version and when I played warframe, all the mission tilesets renders weirdly. Just wondering if there's any way I can fix this or anyone else having the same issue. Here's a screenshot to show how bad it is:http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=285316250 Thanks
Letter13
I'd suggest verifying your game files. Also make sure your DirectX software is up to date. Also try reinstalling your AMD GPU drivers, as corrupt driver installations can cause graphical artifacting.
Spodermon
Thanks. I will get back to you as soon as I try all your suggestions.
Spodermon
Okay. I updated my DirectX and reinstalled my AMD drivers. But still, the problem is there. By the way, as I checked the settings on the warframe launcher, I noticed that the DirectX 11 checkbox is grayed out. What does that mean?
MillbrookWest
Did you try overclocking the card? This looks similar to what happened to my really old 2600 XT when i got curious about what bad overclocks do..... If you hadn't overclocked, i'd still say there's something up with the chip overheating and either dying...or being dead already :( EDIT: Download "GPU-Z" or "core temp" (the standalone version hidden under the giant "downlaod" button, you don't want all the sponsor rubbish) and check that your PC is running at decent temps. Spodermon
Just to be clear, the game renders fine before I updated my drivers.
MillbrookWest
what driver version did you go from? and which do you have now? Are you running a laptop or desktop PC? also, what's your CPU/GPU?
