Getting 20% off for two days is crap, if it hasn't been changed, ruins your chances of getting a good discount. It totally sucks to rely on RNG for discounts. So i'm thinking "why not offer everyone the same discounts at the same time?" Think about it: if players all had days where they'd all get a discount, sales will rise. Some people have gotten 75% off about 5-15 times a year. (many of) Those people know how to NOT overspend, as opposed to those who think it's a 'waste' to spend during it. tl;dr This could actually reduce sales. You're only thinking this, as I might take a guess, someone who isn't used to seeing 50% and 75% off. Once it becomes a standard, people will ONLY buy it while it's on, rather than have the idea of 'hoping' for it. B) That change things that you have no control over. I thought it was so important, it needed saying twice. "It totally sucks to rely on RNG for discounts." Which means "I'm tired of not getting enough Plat discounts, we need to convince DE to change this." System is working fine. If you have a handful of friends, then in that group, purely on RNG, you will get a 50% at least once a month; bulk buy and share. Looking at our interesting and vastly developed endgame i believe that this is indeed the goal for de. Especially considering that de doesnt want to take a look at market.
