Probably not much with Kubrow customisation upcoming: Depending on the system people would rather buy the pattern from the market than from players, but we don't know how it will be yet.

But look at this Kubrow Customization coming this U14.5:

Now nothing is certain. We don't know how they will implement this.

We don't know if imprints will actually reduce in importance / value.

So I'll say just hold on to them until the update if I were you.

 

 

But yes, the Lotus is rare and expensive.
