Is The Unable To Rank Up Bug Fixed?

I just wondered if the unable to rank up test has been hotfixed on the PC version or not. If so which patch fixed the problem and are there any quick solutions to it? I have seen some say having a Kubrow equipped can cause the problem.

 

I convinced a friend to start playing Warframe after U14 hit and now he is stuck at Rank 1 due to the same bug. Needless to say that is keeping him from building the 1st frame you can aquire after your starting frame (Rhino) since that requires mastery rank 2. He is also cut out of trading. So if it persist he surely will not play it for long. Not the best advertisement for Warframe.

I've seen many more threads than that since U14 hit, and DE has not even responded to a single one of them.

 

They seem to really not give a S#&$ about mastery tests, to be blunt about it. :\

 

Here's hoping one of them proves me wrong in this thread, but given their track record with mastery rank tests...

Wow....U14 hit PC July 18th and that bug still persist. That is a serious overlook.

Not to mention the bug where alerts won't show up (and thus can't be selected) after you abort/fail a mission or exit the dojo, needing you to wait 5 minutes or relog, etc.

 

Idunno' what happened to DE.  They used to be so good about reading and fixing bugs in the forums, but then they just kinda'... stopped reading.

Have you tried sending a report directly to costumer support? All threads were started between 22-25 august, So maybe they haven't gotten to it yet. they would have to investigate the matter, look into where the problem is, isolate it, and fix it. Today is wednesday, Perhaps there will be a hotfix for it coming out. You can't really bash them for not fixing something you just started reporting 5 days ago. never the less, give them a minute, it has only been 5 days since the issue started appearing, they'll find and fix it.

It started with update 14, the OP only searched back a few days ago because that's all that was needed to make the point that it's not just them.

31 july is one of the dates on those threads (I can find more if you need) so your 5 days ago does not really apply. The minute is up and it is not a isolated issue.

This just happened to me for the second time since patch14 came out on ps4 it happened when I wanted to test to7 and now again when I want to test to 8. This really sucks cause I was really looking forward to the dragon nikana and now my argon crystals are gonna rot before I can even test for it.

Does not work. .. tryed and got the black screen and back at ship. Happend 2times allready and even 2 levels lower it happend tot me. They helped my buddy and shipped him up a level. So fix it please or ship me up a lvl to!!?! I need to build a lot of weapons!

The PC version have received 30 updates since U14 and are now on 14.5.2. I wonder if anyone of these have fixed this issue or is it still happening?

However, a day ago somebody at DE finally noticed one of the threads so we might actually get a fix some time.

Do the console versions have a vertical sync option?  I suffered that problem for two days on PC but on the third day switched vertical sync on and it worked fine.  I had noticed a frame rate of ~6000fps during the black screen and thought that can't be good so turned on vertical sync to limit the frame rate to 60fps and it worked fine after that.

I just recently ranked up to 17, no issues at all.

There's a fix, it was answered above, I tried for 4 days to Rank Up and followed this last suggestion, turn Vertical Sync On (not Auto, On!) and...it worked, I suggest to change Matchmaking to Solo too.
