Is It Okay To Make Multiple Accounts?

So, on most games I like to create a new account after playing for X amount of time. Warframe is no exception, but I want to make sure it's allowed before I go ahead and do it (don't want my excal prime account to be banned :P).

 

I'd play both accounts around 50% of the time, and would NOT abuse the recruitment system.

 

EDIT: Or maybe I just want to do it because "GamingNappyShaman" is a stupid username...

Well, from the devs I've talked to, no one cares about alt accounts. In fact you can use the same email using [your email]+1@gmail.com.
The fact is it just brings in more money for them. There's really no downside.

 

Oh, and 150 plat for a name change, if I recall. Might be 200.

i have not seen it posted anywhere that multiple accounts is wrong or against the rules. I myself have 2 other accounts but I don't use them anymore (used to use them to try out each starter frame)

Are you talking about having pc and ps3 account or pc/pc or ps3/ps3?

As someone said, it possible to use same email for multiple accounts, that being possible it makes no sense to be against rules.

They allow them but its somewhat of a shady area, if they find them being used as a way of more reliably obtaining plat discounts, abusing events by running it on multiple accounts to sell mods and such they will take action. As long as you're not using your alt for anything shady it's fine though.
