Nebrime
I'll just be playing a mission, and bam my computers startup screen will appear saying "Dell XPS" or whatever, the Windows logo appears and then I have to sign into my laptop profile. Other times the audio will loop very quickly, more like a buzzing noise and it will completely freeze up my computer. I have to hold down the power button to hard reset it and I have no idea why. It's NOT my computer specs, the game runs fine, I can run Photoshop fine, PlanetSide 2 etc. It's only with this game and I really need a solution. I have my AC on the whole day so where I am isn't burning hot. I was just on round 25 of a Defense mission and it just happened. This is the 3rd time it's happened TODAY and it's not starting to irritate the living F*** out of me. What can I do fix this problem, (it's happening very frequently)? Specs (Screenshot)- http://prntscr.com/4h9hoe Computer Performance (While Warframe is running)- http://prntscr.com/4h9j2x Q-"Are all of your drivers fully updated?"A-Yes"It's probably that your computer can't handle it."A- This game only uses about 5% of my CPU Usage, it's not taxing on my computer whatsoever. Q-"Have you tried to system restore your computer?"A-Yes, I did it when this first happened, the game prevented my Windows 7 from loading, and I was forced to do a system restore. Q-"Have you tried reformatting your HD?" A-I'm not gonna delete everything on my computer for a simple buggy game. tl;drThe game freezes my entire computer. griever102
Reinstall game, if it still persists stop playing and hope for fix to ever come. Alternatively you can keep on being persistent and find a "cure"

TrinityPrime
Sounds like it's the computer trying to draw more power from the PSU than it can handle or your PSU is dying.
Nebrime
Check your harddrive for errors Free of errors completely, no viruses detected either. Any chance of us getting your PC specs? Posted. Never had this problem before maybe you can try to re-installing Warframe? Re-installed it several times over the past week. Sounds like it's the computer trying to draw more power from the PSU than it can handle or your PSU is dying. Drawing more power? I have my laptop on the charger for most of the day, it's at a steady 85% throughout the day, and I let it die at night when I sleep. Athros
Check in your System Event Viewer -> Windows Logs -> System (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-id/windows/open-event-viewer#1TC=windows-7) what is the cause for the restart first. Look for the time when the restart is happening and search for a system restart event, possiby an error or warning type. The cause could be anything, but you could pinpoint it (at least got some info for it) from the Event Viewer. Oh so it's a laptop... have you tried shoving your hand under it while you're playing? could be overheating, and before you justify it with the air conditioner, a laptop is way too compact on it's components for an air conditioner to make much of a difference to the heat, unless of course you have the laptop on the air conditioner or something

Air circulation is plentiful, although yes it can get warm if I place it on my lap.
McVolker
Get a cooling pad. Having your AC on won't do bogus for a laptop. You need to keep it elevated with a consistent, directed airflow below it. This suggestion is what I give to every laptop gamer, ever. It seriously works. Your specs look fine, so I'll assume it's overheating.
Nebrime
Hmm... Could you list what is the content (the service's names) of the error events? After reviewing each error, this is the closest thing shown that had to do with the video games on my computer, http://prntscr.com/4h9o37 . No error was reported for "Warframe.x64.exe" or any video driver etc.

Well I do hope it's only a small problem like that, though my laptop doesn't get very hot at all while playing any game, nor will it bug out like Warframe does. I can play Garry's Mod all day with it being burning hot without an issue, too. Warframe? My laptop'll be cool/warm and shut down my entire computer. --Q--JoeTheBanshee
Look for the event that shows the shut-down, then find any 'Critical' reports before that and post them here.

No error was reported for "Warframe.x64.exe" or any video driver etc. It doesn't have to be related to the game, it could be anything that conflicts with Warframe. And for the above screenshot, it seems Windows somehow failed to add Steam to your firewall's whitelist. For that problem; http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-allow-programs-through-the-windows-7-firewa.html. Just check both the checkbox for Steam. Look for the event that shows the shut-down, then find any 'Critical' reports before that and post them here. ^ What he said. Also find the event before them. PenutReaper
How long have you had the laptop? I would assume that this was a PSU problem, but with a laptop I'm not sure.
Nebrime
Look for the event that shows the shut-down, then find any 'Critical' reports before that and post them here. Rydian
Hey guys, how about we diagnose the crash itself? Go to C:\Windows\Minidump\ and see if there's any files there. If there are, copy the latest three onto your dekstop (do not skip this despite how stupid it seems) and then upload those copies to a file hosting site like http://www.filedropper.com/ and post the links. It stated that the previous system shutdown was unexpected. Edited August 28, 2014 by FrozenFire98
