JayboX
Warframe seems to be crashing quite often lately and alert missions seem the worst affected. Anyone else having this trouble... or is it just me?
MagPrime
I haven't crashed since I updated my graphics card a few months ago. Here's what I usually do when one of my games crash too much. >Run virus scan >Update computer/Graphics drivers >Run virus scan >Verify cache via launcher If that doesn't fix it, talk to support. JayboX
I'll quote ref # next time. Seems to be happening on alert missions at the moment of extraction. Was okay before the update and hotfixes.
JayboX
This info from https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/64026-diagnosing-system-crashes/ helped me enormously. 5. Missing or corrupt system files There is a chance that your Windows O/S may either be missing or have some corrupt system files. While these files may not necessary be attached to Warframe, there is a chance that running Warframe could cause your system to crash as it is searching for these files. The sfc /scannow command will scan all protected system files and replace incorrect versions with the correct Microsoft versions. - Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow. - At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER: sfc /scannow More information on the functions of the sfc /scannow command can be found here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
