So if you ever used the option "defrag" constantly whenever you download something on your Warframe launcher you may have noticed that the option was replaced with the "optimize" option.
I was wondering what was the difference between "defragging" and "optimizing", did DE just rename the option "defrag" with "optimize" because it didn't sound right, or did they overall change the entire function?
Another question to go with it is: Will this affect my game performance? And will it perform better than when than before when the "defrag" option still existed?
(Not the best guy in the computer field and such, so if you have an answer for me please dumb it down, many thanks!)
